Alaska is well known for its Grizzly Bear population but what many may not know, is that the northern and western arctic regions of Alaska are also home to a population of Polar Bear. Polar Bears keep to the Alaskan coastlines and the sea ice in the polar regions but can often be found on land during the fall and spring. Both flightseeing and land tours are available during these months to view the bears.
