The Russian Arctic is the biggest region above the Arctic Circle. In addition to the Polar Bears, among other arctic wildlife can be found off the coast Chukotka throughout the remote islands including the world’s northernmost UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wrangel Island. Wrangel and Herald Islands offer Polar Bear viewing experiences by sea with the opportunity to also explore the land. This region has the highest Polar Bear density and a high amount of cubs are born here each year.
